IIM Ahmedabad Ranking 2026

A rank is a summary of an institute's own submission against a published methodology. The overall rank sits well below the management rank because the overall table is dominated by large multi-faculty institutions with research output across the sciences — it is a different comparison, not a worse result.

The management rank has held first place across the two most recent cycles. NIRF scores five parameters — teaching and resources, research, graduation outcomes, outreach and inclusivity, and perception.

The magazine rankings rank the MBA specifically, and place the institute first in that table. NIRF ranks the institute as a whole within the management category rather than programme by programme.
